2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 4x4, Ridgeline “Blue Ridge” build

Ridgeline’s flagship 170 4x4 is the van we built to live in the Blue Ridge year-round. Forest Green over a white-oak-and-matte-black interior, the layout runs a fixed east-west queen over a full-height gear garage, a proper indoor wet bath, and a galley you can actually cook in. Every cabinet is CNC-cut Baltic birch faced in rift-sawn oak, and every panel is insulated with Thinsulate and Havelock wool behind it.

Power is the real story here: 600Ah of Battle Born lithium, a 3,000W Victron MultiPlus, and 400W of roof solar means induction cooking, the Dometic 12V air conditioner, and a week off-grid are all on the table. Heat is an Espar D2 diesel unit plumbed straight to the chassis tank, so there is no propane anywhere on this van. Fresh water is a 30-gallon heated tank with a Truma AquaGo on demand.

Chassis is a 2023 Sprinter 2500 4x4 High Roof with 14,200 miles, still under Mercedes-Benz factory warranty, with the MBUX package, 360° camera, and Falken Wildpeak A/T tires on 17" Black Rhino wheels.
